Last week I attended a design and real estate roundtable with design guru and star of the upcoming Trading Spaces reboot on TLC, Sabrina Soto. The event was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and sponsored by Century 21. It also featured Realtor Geo Kirakossian from Century 21 Peak in Granada Hills.
Soto is charming, she shared great insights, and perhaps most importantly, she isn't afraid to rock a great pair of teal pants and yellow heels. She's a woman after my own heart. The intimate roundtable with the HGTV star felt like a living room gab session. In fact, Soto even shared about her secret weapon for doing laundry - wine. She's got a wine tap in her personal laundry room (both red and white - what? I was curious). #wineandwashwednesdays, anyone?
Sabrina and Geo spoke of trending LA neighborhoods (we're looking at you, Inglewood), the hottest- and most timeless - design trends (marble wallpaper, white kitchens), as well as advice when it comes to designing your own space (hint: start with the sofa and rug).
