MARNI MERVIS, FOUNDER + PHOTOGRAPHER
Marni is a photographer and art director with over 10 years of experience in new media and content. She has a background in architecture and history which allows her to imbue her photographic work with, not only beauty, but a strong sense of context, as well. Marni’s photography has been featured in Architectural Digest, Dwell, The LA Times, Rue Magazine, and others. Previously, during her time at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Marni led custom ad integrations across Sony’s digital platforms, and prior to founding STRUKTR, Marni ran content and social media for a silicon beach-based proptech startup. Marni has presented at the annual Association of Preservation Technology International conference, taught content marketing at General Assembly, and has also guest-lectured at USC's Annenberg School For Communication.
In her spare time Marni loves breathing new life into older homes, including a 1950s Joshua Tree homestead cabin and 1970s chalet in Lake Arrowhead, CA. Marni currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Athletic Club and is also President of LAAC’s professional women’s organization, WAVE.
Marni is also a licensed California REALTOR® (DRE#02200719) and she holds a b.s. in business from USC and studied a masters in historic preservation at Goucher College.
