Last week I photographed Suja’s fun and healthy kombuchas. Come behind-the-scenes with us on this photo shoot and see how we put together the concept for Suja’s Green Apple and Peach Ginger flavored drinks.
For Green Apple we showcased the power of the fruit that’s contained in single drink. We did that by constructing a wall entirely of apples. This served as a backdrop to shoot the kombucha bottle against.
It wasn’t easy, and the wall was certainly teetering at paints, but thanks to Bonnie’s engineering skills we were able to make this magic happen. And thanks to her BTS photo skills we’re able to show you how.
We built our entire apple wall only to intentionally make the whole thing come crashing down for an epic action shot.
Next up was our shot for Suja’s Peach Ginger flavor kombucha. The colors and the ingredients of of this particular flavor lend themselves so well to a fun riff on the classic drink, the Moscow Mule. For this shot we captured a gorgeous pour shot of our custom Suja cocktail.
Before we started pouring, I made sure the shot was framed properly.
