Last week I had the opportunity to photograph two incredibly beautiful mid-century modern homes for Atomic Ranch magazine. Come behind-the-scenes with us in Palm Springs for a sneak peek not only of how we work, but at these eye-popping homes - duh!
One home was a fabulous William Krisel-designed home in the historic Racquet Club. The other home was located in the Bermuda Dunes Country Club. Being the height of winter, these two shoots were all about maximizing daylight.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get a shot, like get on the kitchen counter for the best angle. I know I can always count on Bonnie to capture the most flattering BTS moments.
We had the amazing opportunity to spend the evening in one of these gorgeous homes. And that provided the opportunity to capture the house in virtually every kind of light. A lit up pergola under the sunset? Check. Waking up at dawn to shoot the front door in the absence of shadows? Check.
Sunrise was just around 6:30, so with a fresh cup brewed of coffee in hand we headed outside.
Also, yup, it’s confirmed: my yoga pants and my pennies may just be the best look. Ever.
And then before I knew it, that was a wrap in Palm Springs!
